We offer our know how for any stage of a project: from the preliminary design (FEED) till the detailed design. We have experience in designing the single line diagram based on the project requirements, designing the protection and metering diagrams, supplying the material requisition for electrical items, technical bid evaluations (TBE), Vendor follow-up, participation to Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT). We are able to assess the design by means of network studies, such as load flow studies, short circuit studies, motor starting studies, transient stability studies, harmonic studies and relay coordination studies.
Electrical system design
We know-how design an electrical system, starting from the load list and the basic project requirements. We are used to carry out projects for either Front End Engineering Design (FEED) stage or executive and construction stage.
High voltage switchyards
We did design several air insulated switchyards, of more varied schemes (single bus, double bus, translation bus, one and a half circuit breaker, polygonal etc.) up to 400kV. We have also experience in Gas Insulated Switchgear (SF6) up to 220kV.
Electrical equipment
We are experts in specifying the most important equipment of an electrical plant, such as high voltage equipment, medium and low voltage switchgears, MCC, UPS, power transformers, generators, busducts, power cables, SCADA systems, load shedding systems, power generation control systems.
Electrical control system
Power is nothing without control. We are specialised in monitoring and control system of the electrical network to operate from remote (usually the control room) through a workstation. We know how design and specify combined systems (SCADA system IEC61850 based, load shedding system, power generation control system) normally identified as PMS, ENMCS, EMS, ELICS etc.
Network studies
Even the best designed electrical systems need to be assessed by means of network studies. We are specialised in network analysis such as load flow, short circuit, protection and grading studies, harmonic, transient stability, capability, flickering etc. We use several software, the most common for industry.
Field activities
We have experience in site survey to develop engineering, fault analysis, attendance to equipment Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), protection relay setting input.
